On August 12, 2010 Corpus Christi's local news station KIII News reported on the Corpus Christi Police Department's usage of their gang intelligence database (GangScope). CCPD's Capt. Green explains that using GangScope makes it safer for the officers and allows them to be more effective. "It gives us a better chance of making an immediate arrest and solving that crime."
